Welcome to Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital. Our Veterinarians and staff are here to serve the pet owners of Surrey, White Rock and Langley, we share a common passion and love for animals, we treat your family member as if it was our own. We actively work with various animal rescue organizations and constantly volunteering in our community. We are focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to meet your expectations. Our well lit and spacious facility is designed keeping in mind the specific needs of our furry friends, we provide treatment for various ailments as well as preventative medicine. We strive for compassionate and quality care, we’re honoured to be part of your pets life. ‘Our Motto is to Provide the Best Quality Service in a Cost Effective Manner.’

We offer a full range of pet care services, including but not limited to – Dentistry, Flea Control, Digital radiography, Ultrasound examinations, Internal medicine consultations, Nutrition consultations, Geriatric and wellness care program, Boarding, Vaccination, Parasite control, Spay/Neuter surgery, Orthopaedic surgery, Soft tissue surgery, Skin/Ear treatments, Allergy treatments, Tattoo and microchip identification program, Behaviour consultations. We have veterinary hospital hours and accommodations without veterinary hospital prices.

  • DR. VIKRAM VIRK
    DR. VIKRAM VIRK
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Virk came to Canada in 2007, in 2010 he received his Veterinary License. Once he maintained he license he moved to Fort McMurray and began practicing. Shortly after realizing -40 temperatures were not for him he moved back to B.C. He practiced in North Vancouver, Langley, and in 2013 himself and Dr. Ghuman opened Peace Arch Veterinary Hospital. In his off time you will find Dr. Virk spending time with his wife, and two kids.

  • DR. GURBRINDER GHUMAN
    DR. GURBRINDER GHUMAN
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Ghuman competed his DVM in 2003, and in 2005 completed his masters in Veterinary Science with cardiovascular physiology and veterinary medicine. After finishing these degrees he moved on to University of Guelph to pursue his second post graduate degree. In 2009 he passed the national board exam. In 2011 started as associate veterinarian in Surrey, and Abbotsford. In 2013 Dr. Virk and Dr. Ghuman opened Peace Arch Veterinary hospital. In his off time you will see Dr. Ghuman adventuring with his wife, three kids, and dog Nala.

  • JAKE PALMER
    JAKE PALMER
    2007-2020

    Jake joined our family in September 2012 arriving in a crate with his buddy Joey, rescued from a high-kill shelter in Lancaster California. He was a social dog and made many friends. Dr’s Virk and Ghuman welcomed Jake to their Peace Arch Clinic when Taylor worked there. Jake seemed to think he had a job there to greet people and their pets. Kitty was his special friend, one of the few women Jake fully welcomed into his life.

    He wasn’t a very big dog, and he was quiet; yet he made a favourable impression on those he met.

    BREANNA HANDLEY

    Breanna started as a volunteer in 2013 and was hired in 2016 as a part-time employee. She hopes to become a large animal vet in the future and is currently taking her Biological Sciences degree at Simon Fraser University. She enjoys playing competitive softball in her off time and also the comfort of home with her 3 feline pets.

    SASHA TIEMER

    Sasha has been at peace arch for 5 years. In her off time she runs her vegan bakery, dough and co, or spends time with her senior chihuahua, Chai.

    Carly Peterse

    Carly started working with us in May 2021 as a Veterinary Assistant. In her off time you can find her adventuring with her dog Millie or in the barn with her 2 horses.

    Alexis Tjahjadi

    Alexis started working in May 2021. When she’s not working or studying, she loves camping, hiking, fishing, all those outdoor stuff. She always tries to find a sneaky reason to go back to her hometown, Indonesia, to just meet her dogs!

    Danielle Bulgin

    Danielle started her practicum here in April 2021 after completing her schooling to become a veterinary medical assistant in Alberta. She decided to become part of the team as soon as she was able to. You can find her on her days off cuddling up with her cats Artemis and Apollo on the couch.

    Rachel Gresiuk

    Rachel started working with us in the Summer 2021 as a Veterinary Assistant. In her free time she deals with rescue harbour seal pups for the Vancouver Aquarium in their Marine Mammal Rescue Centre Program.
